Biography
A Bay Area native, Francesca completed her BA in Malibu at Pepperdine University where she was among the first of the Gates Millennium Scholars and studied in London, Buenos Aries and Johannesburg. Francesca returned to the Bay Area after college and began her career in real estate as an Assistant Manager for a complex with 165 rental units. She quickly mastered the art of leasing paperwork and customer service – a skill that would serve her well in future endeavors. It wasn’t long before she jumped at an opportunity to work for a small office in the Oakland Hills, where she transitioned from rental to residential real estate. Her love and understanding of the Residential Purchase Contract, compliance and creative solutions helped her quickly advance within a rapidly growing office. Francesca shifted her whole approach and perspective on the real estate business through specialized customer service training, and eventually ended up assisting over 175 agents in three different counties with every facet of their business for eight years. She then used those skills as the Marin Association of REALTORS Vice President of Operations. In her role as Vice President of Operations, she has increased efficiencies in the daily operations of the association allowing it to become more flexible and nimble. As a result of strategic upgrades she led, the association was able to respond quickly and work remotely to continue to serve the membership during shelter in Place orders. Francesca was key in executing the one-time COVID credit During 2020 and continues to find ways to improve Association operations while increasing service to the association’s members. Sand received the “Making a Difference” award. After moving to Spain in 2021, Francesca continues to consult the Marin REALTORS in their operations as well as helping other organizations find efficiencies, navigate forms
,and optimize their real estate compliance.
